Experiential Edge does only one thing, and they do it well. They provide activity-based learning programs for conferences, meetings and events. While they operate globally, they are a Tasmanian owned sibling company to The Real Learning Experience (founded in 1993).
Do
They are professional facilitators of learning and as much as they love a good activity, it only has value when it provides a platform for learning. Whichever experience delegates are immersed in – the great Australian Desert, an Ancient South American temple, a stunning and remote archipelago, an artist’s studio, or an ocean teeming with sharks – the team at Experiential Edge provide an experience delegates will never forget.
Each program has its own theme and its own outcomes. Rather than selecting an activity based on the theme, Experiential Edge work with each client to understand the learning outcomes that they want to achieve – and the results they want to improve in their workplaces.
The Lost Civilisation of The Olmec:
Set in an ancient temple, buried deep in the South American jungle. Participants form small tribes and are challenged to achieve exceptional, values-based results, despite the pressures to compete and perform. This is the ideal option if you want an engaging and dynamic experience that develops the awareness, skills and mindsets to achieve exceptional and sustainable results by working effectively with others.
Lasseter’s Reef, A Quest for Gold
A desert themed experience, teams work together as they strive for exceptional results. This is the ideal option if you want a high energy experience that builds attitudes and strategies to achieve exceptional team and individual outcomes.
Archipelago, All at Sea
For this experience, small groups are marooned on a chain of idyllic islands, grappling with disruptive change, and attempting to meet the expectations they face.
This is the ideal option if you would like to use a dynamic activity to develop people’s attitudes, strategies and skills when dealing with change – and when leading people and teams before, during and after change.
CollobART – A Big Picture Masterpiece
Cohorts of artists are asked to form a ‘team of teams’ to deliver a Big Picture outcome – both literally and metaphorically. The natural focus for teams to focus on their own objectives means they lose focus on the bigger picture and must reset to achieve the outcomes of the activity.
This is the ideal option if you want to bring your values to life, engage the team in your mission, purpose or philosophy, or define your team spirit, in an engaging activity that challenges participants to collaborate. A great way to launch new or refined team values or to address the silos that damage organisational performance.
Through the Window
Participants are provided with a framework that promotes self-awareness and that incorporates the two key mechanisms for insight – self-reflection and feedback from others.
This is the ideal option if you want you delegates to develop the skills to have honest and authentic discussions – that should, but usually aren’t, happening in the workplace, – in a safe and constructive environment.
