Tasmania boast some of the world’s most stunning natural environments, yet undoubtedly our greatest asset is our visionary.
The Business Events Tasmania Visionary Program formalises the partnerships we have with some of these truly extraordinary Tasmanians. As experts and leaders of their industries, BET Visionaries advocate for events to be held in Tasmania and work with event organisers to showcase Tasmanian industry through business events on their field.
They come from a wide range of industries but share one thing in common; they are experts, pioneers, and leaders with a desire to share their knowledge with others. If you are looking for guest speakers at your event, then the BET Visionary Program has a pool of potential speakers for you to choose from.
Speakers such as Theo Kapodistrias – multi-award-winning lawyer Theo is the executive director, licensee, and curator of TEDxHobart. He was named Speaker of the Year at the 2022 International Coaches Awards and relishes the opportunity to facilitate an environment that encourages the sharing of knowledge.
And Irene Penesis, Research Director at Blue Economy CRC and Professor at Australian Maritime College. Irene is skilled in differential equations, lecturing, fluid dynamics, project management, and marine renewable energy. A leader in her field Irene offers deep understanding and knowledge, a valuable asset for industry aligned conferences.
