Located five minutes from central Hobart, the 14-hectare Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens’ are the second oldest in Australia. The Gardens have a range of event spaces that can cater for all types of event requirements. These include two main conference rooms, various indoor and outdoor cocktail function locations, along with sprawling lawns that are suitable for large marquee functions. The conferencing spaces are suitable for small to mediums groups, with the Conservatory and Lily Pond both versatile locations for outdoor cocktail functions. The Gardens recommend engaging an external supplier to assist with event management and styling.

The onsite Botanical store showcases locally Tasmanian made and brand aligned items, including plants grown at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Tailored gifts packs can be arranged as gifts for speakers and delegates.

Discover how the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens developed from a colonial produce garden into a collection showcasing plants and tall trees from around the world.  Custom group tours can be arranged where a personal guide will lead you through many highlights, sharing stories of the people and plants that make this garden unique and revealing the behind-the-scenes work protecting Tasmanian species for the future.
