Passionate advocate specialising in connecting people and businesses with opportunities for the benefit of Antarctica and Tasmania and public sector policy development. Karen is Tasmania’s Antarctic Advocate. Since 2019 Karen has been actively involved in the Australian Antarctic Festival, a unique community event showcasing Hobart’s unique role as an Antarctic city and gateway.
In this role Karen provides governance and support to for the festival, making use of her years of experience gained within the Antarctic research sector.
As a BET Visionary Karen is a local expert available and eager to share her unique knowledge at industry aligned events.
