The BET Visionary Spotlight reaches the half-way point

With the release of episode 3 last week, we have officially reached the half-way point for season 1. In celebration we have written a recap for you along with a teaser of what’s to come.

Episode 1

For the inaugural episode we got together with local legend Sam Reid.

Co-founder of Willie Smith’s Cider Makers & Managing Director of Launceston’s Du Cane Brewing, Sam Reid shared with us what it was that attracted him to the hosipitality industry.

We gained insight from one of the leading voices in the Australian cider industry, learning about the philosophy embedded in the organisations lead by Sam.


Episode 2

In episode 2 we talked to another Lonnie local – Associate Professor Greg Oates.

One of the central players fostering this growth is Anne Gigney, our third and most recent guest on the show.

Founder of the Tasmanian Whiskey Academy & co-founder of the Distillers Institute Anne offered has insight into the ever growing industry.

With fascinating stories of her past and the history of what inspired the founding of Tasmanian Whiskey Academy, Episode 3 is must listen for anyone interested by whiskey making.
