The Tamar Visitor Centre is located in the Tamar Valley town of Exeter in Northern Tasmania. Exeter lies in the heart of Tasmania’s Tamar Valley Wine Route, only 40 minutes from the Launceston Airport.
As a member of the accredited Tasmanian Visitor Information Network located around the state, the Tamar Visitor Centre’s skilled, knowledgeable staff and volunteers can provide expert local and statewide travel information. Staff can also organise bookings and reservations and give advice on what to see and do and where to eat around the Island.
The Tamar Visitor Centre also has a large range of souvenirs and gifts to suit all tastes and budgets.
