Josef Chromy OAM has been instrumental in the evolution of the Tasmanian food and wine industry, having owned and developed some of Tasmania’s leading wineries. Josef Chromy Wines is the culmination of Chromy’s experience in Northern Tasmania’s Tamar Valley and its unique 60-hectare vineyard site and location provides one of the most memorable food and wine experiences in Tasmania.
This picturesque, secluded location — just 15 minutes from central Launceston — can accommodate up to 350 people for cocktails or 200 people seated in the restaurant. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows enabling views of the lake and vineyard. Wine tours and their famous tastings are available for delegates to enjoy, which can include an informative and leisurely stroll from cellar door to winery for a behind-the-scenes look at wine production. An introduction to fly fishing, and riding through the vines experience is also available for the more adventurous.

Josef Chromy Wines can accommodate up to 350 people for cocktails or 200 people seated in the restaurant. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows enabling views of the picturesque lake and vineyard. The room can also be divided into three separate spaces, making it perfect for breakout rooms or smaller meetings. Marquee events are also available lakeside for up to 500 seated guests or 700 at cocktail events.
