Josef Chromy OAM has been instrumental in the evolution of the Tasmanian food and wine industry, having owned and developed some of Tasmania’s leading wineries. Josef Chromy Wines is the culmination of Chromy’s experience in Northern Tasmania’s Tamar Valley and its unique 60-hectare vineyard site and location provides one of the most memorable food and wine experiences in Tasmania.

This picturesque, secluded location — just 15 minutes from central Launceston — can accommodate up to 350 people for cocktails or 200 people seated in the restaurant. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows enabling views of the lake and vineyard. Wine tours and their famous tastings are available for delegates to enjoy, which can include an informative and leisurely stroll from cellar door to winery for a behind-the-scenes look at wine production. An introduction to fly fishing, and riding through the vines experience is also available for the more adventurous.

Located just 15 minutes from central Launceston, this venue combines breathtaking scenery, an award-winning restaurant, and exceptional wines to create lasting impressions.
The venue accommodates up to 350 guests for cocktail events or 200 seated in its stylish restaurant. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame picturesque views of the lake and vineyard, creating a truly remarkable backdrop. The versatile space can also be divided into three smaller rooms, ideal for breakout sessions or more intimate gatherings.
For larger events, lakeside marquee events are available, hosting up to 500 seated guests or 700 for cocktail receptions.
