What’s New – Double Tree by Hilton Hobart (Update)
A few months ago, we covered the announcement that the hotel development on Macquarie Street was set to become operated by Double Tree by Hilton. We have recently received an update on the capacity information for this site.
With a focus placed on innovation for the future through contemporary accommodation and amenities, as well as unique food and beverage experiences, Double Tree by Hilton is the fastest growing Hilton brand.
This new addition for Hobart will include 115 King rooms, 10 King assessable rooms and 81 double Queen bedrooms for a total of 206 rooms (20 inter-connecting).
This will be accompanied by a restaurant with capacity for 110 seats and 3 function rooms:
- Venue 1 – 91m2 (divides into 2 venues)
- Venue 2 – 60m2
- Pre-Function Area – 67m2 including Bar
Located in the CBD, the hotel is within minutes of shops, restaurants, historic sites, and will offer views of the Derwent River.
