3950 Cradle Mountain Rd. Cradle Mountain
Devils@Cradle is a world class conservation facility dedicated to ensuring the survival of Tasmania’s most unique species.
The sanctuary is located at the start of one of Tasmania’s premier wilderness destinations – the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park. The spectacular and pristine wilderness of Cradle Mountain is the natural home of all three of their focused species, including the mysterious and elusive Tasmanian Devil.
Visiting delegates will have the opportunity to see and learn all about the Tasmanian devils, Eastern quolls and Spotted-tail quolls whilst gaining an insight into the operations of a working conservation facility. Come and wander through the sanctuary at your own leisure or join a tour, all while knowing your admission fee is contributing to the conservation of these iconic animals.

Open day and night every day, Devils@Cradle offer a range of engaging experiences to suit everyone. From general entry, and ‘Day Keeper Tours’ during the day, to the very popular ‘After Dark Feeding Tours’ in the evening. If you’re looking for something a little more up-close and personal, they also offer intimate ‘Joey Encounters’ and their ‘Sunset Experience’.
With every tour, an experienced keeper will give your delegates an accurate understanding of the life cycles, biology, threats and conservation efforts of their three species. This aspect of their work is considered a valuable tool in the education of the general public, and an important part in their effort to secure the future of Tasmania’s devils and quolls.
