Theo Kapodistrias believes every voice holds power – it just needs space to be heard.
He has worked across diverse sectors – including higher education, cyber security, tourism, and energy – and was named one of Australia’s Most Influential Lawyers by Australasian Lawyer magazine. Beyond his legal career, Theo is known as an award-winning speaker and presentation coach who helps professionals “speak up, show up, and make an impact” with their voice. In fact, he was honoured as the Speaker of the Year (2022) at the International Coaches Awards for his excellence in public speaking. Theo runs his own business as a speaker, coach, and MC – delivering tailored workshops, keynote talks, and one-on-one training that transforms how people communicate. Whether he’s helping a team deliver more meaningful presentations or coaching a founder to pitch with purpose, Theo brings energy, humour and deep expertise to every session.
He’s the host of Craft Messages That Matter, a podcast offering bite-sized tools for more effective communication. And in 2022, he was named Speaker of the Year at the International Coaches Awards – recognition of his ability to inspire through story.

In 2021, Theo stepped into a new kind of spotlight: becoming Executive Director, Licensee and Curator of TEDxHobart. Leading a volunteer team, he built a platform for local voices to be heard globally – curating ideas worth spreading and showcasing the depth of Tasmanian thinking and creativity.
In 2024, Theo published his book, ‘A Way With Words’ which became an Amazon Best Seller in 5 categories in its first 24 hours on sale. His book has also been recognised with international awards winning the 2024 Best Indie Book Award for Best Non-Fiction Book (Communication) and the 2024 Royal Dragonfly Award placing second in the Inspirational/Self help category globally.
