MAC 02 on Hobart’s iconic waterfront is TasPorts’ premier indoor venue, ideal for your medium to large corporate event, concert or trade show.
Within a short walk of Hobart’s CBD and some of the city’s finest hotels, MAC 02 features concrete flooring, high ceilings, and large glass windows.
MAC 02 can accommodate theatre seating for up to 1,700 guests, trade shows with 110 booths, conference dinners for 1,300, and cocktail events for 3,000 guests.
MAC 02 is available for dry hire only, providing you with the flexibility to personalise and tailor the space to your event. Catering, styling, entertainment, production and event planning are organised externally by the client, and we have a fantastic selection of trusted preferred suppliers to recommend. TasPorts will arrange waste management, cleaning, and security on your behalf. The venue is easily accessible with level vehicle access and a large back of house space.
Due to cruise ship commitments over the summer season, MAC 02 is unavailable for events from November to April each year.
